Just getting this study off the ground

I'm already pretty tired, but at least I've got this blog up and started.  I'll be posting updates as I put together this research study, sharing information I find.  I guess for now, I need to start thinking about what social networking sites I want to investigate.  I will probably consider those nominated for 2007 Webby Awards.  I will interview a key opinion leader in each of the virtual communities I select.  I think Digg is a good starting point.  But what else?  There's too many to choose from and I'm too tired to think about it any longer.
