Think globally when it comes to social networks
Monday, July 2, 2007 at 09:05PM If your organization is global, your participation on social networks should be as well. Most of us in the U.S. would consider MySpace and Facebook the leading social networks. But other countries have big players as well. For example, Bebo is very popular in the U.K. and other English-speaking countries. So popular that, according to Google's Zeitgeist, "bebo" was the most-searched term worldwide in 2006 (MySpace was number 2).
Check out this interesting World Map of Social Networks for a global perspective of social networking trends.
Incidentally, I thought Skittles had a nice profile on Bebo.
