U Click Pick of the Week: Common Craft

Each week, I will profile a different Web site or tool that every PR practitioner should know about to communicate effectively online. To get started, I realize that many PR practitioners do not know the basics of Web 2.0 media – podcasting, social networking online photo sharing, blogs, social bookmarking, wikis and RSS. This week’s U Click Pick, Common Craft, makes it very easy to become acquainted with Web 2.0 technology. Common Craft produces short, animated how-to videos explaining each of these aspects of Web 2.0. If you are not familiar with sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Del.icio.us, or Flickr, this is the perfect place to learn about them quickly.
My favorite is the Twitter video. I have been Twittering for over a year now and I still have a difficult time explaining to people what exactly it is. Common Craft explains it within minutes.
