I always recommend Google Alerts as a free and comprehensive way to monitor the blogosphere. Now, thanks to developer Michael Jensen (@mdjensen), there's an easy way to monitor Twitter as well. TweetBeep tracks what's being
said about you on Twitter. Like Google Alerts, you can set it to receive e-mail alerts when specific keywords and phrases are mentioned. TweetBeep even will alert you if someone tweets a link to your site using a tinyURL (a shortened URL address commonly used on Twitter). This is a very cool and useful tool. Best of all, it takes no time to sign up and get started.
